Jeff is a graduate of
Arizona State University
(B.S. Political Science, with distinction), Michigan State University
(M.A. Economics), Vermont Law School (J.D.), and
Boston University
(LL.M. Taxation).
He attended the National College of Advocacy at Harvard Law School and
is a former articles editor of the Boston University Journal of Tax Law.
A self-employed attorney since graduation from law school, Jeff has
served as an Adjunct Faculty Member of Vermont Law School (1999-2004) as
well as a a tenured Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department
of Management of Norwich University (1983-1995).
While on sabbatical from Norwich University, Jeff served as a Special
Counsel to the State of Vermont Department of Public Service.
He currently serves as the Moderator of the Town of Waterbury and the
Waterbury Duxbury Union School District
#45. Past civic positions have included Chairman and Member of the
Waterbury
Village Planning Commission, President and Trustee of the Village of
Waterbury,
Member of the
Waterbury Duxbury Union School Board
District and Harwood Union School District.
His hobbies are cooking and
theatre. Jeff has produced and managed lighting aspects in such
esteemed community theatre productions as Nine, B*Dazzled, Jekyll and
Hyde (a national community theater premier),
Chicago,
Scarlet Pimpernel (Vermont
premiere), All My Sons, Midwives, and Titanic: the Musical (Vermont
premiere). Jeff is the current President of the Stowe Theatre Guild.
